West Arm Silviculture incorporated in 2011. Rob, Jerry and Shawn had a goal of working locally in the kootenays after decades of chasing Silviculture work around the province of B.C.

Wasi began with 200,000 trees to plant and 1 employee and now has expanded to over 40 workers at peak employment and diversified into many forestry related jobs working throughout the year.

West Arm has attained a reputation for their pursuit in professionalism, safety and production. Care and respect for their employees, clients and the environment, continue to drive Wasi towards excellence. The crew consists of some of the most experienced, productive and highest quality workers in the province, who share the passion for working and playing in the Kootenays.

Our work model is for the owners to be in the field with the crew, helping to creat a team spirit every day. Our clients range from various levels of government corporations to smaller local mills and private sector businesses.
